My Business People - Marketing Funnels
Where It All Started... The Marketing Funnels That Launched An Idea
Before jumping into this case study, we'll add a quick little disclaimer here.
Consulting business, My Business People is owned by our founding director, Matt Jull.
Now that's all cleared up, we'll add this statement.
Automation Central wouldn't exist if it wasn't for My Business People.
Back in 2013, Matt & his team at MyBP needed to ramp up their marketing and systemise the business.
While overseas investigating the best online CRM systems in the market, a chance meeting exposed Matt to a powerful, all-in-one system called Ontraport.
Matt didn't know it then but this was the beginning of a whole new business.
Committing to this new CRM, the team began building marketing funnels that combined lead generation strategies with automated ticketing and email messages to promote various live events and run a membership website.
Then they began to scale the business, split testing for improved results and funnelling prospective clients to key touch points, selling services and products.
Back then, Matt had one goal in mind, to build a trust-based relationship with his database, so people would feel safe when dealing with his business.
This led to customers asking Matt to build sales funnels and marketing systems for their businesses which seeded the idea for a new business.
A few years later, Automation Central was born.
This "been there, done that" experience makes Automation Central a rare bird in the online marketplace.
Every marketing funnel we build is built with know-how from years of our own personal, hard-won, experience marketing our own businesses.
System Snap Shot
As you can appreciate, there are several years invested in building My Business People's marketing system, it includes dozens of marketing funnels and hundreds of elements to choose from, we'll just focus on one of MyBP's campaigns
A four-stage, lead generation strategy designed to grow the database and nurture prospects towards becoming consulting clients.
How it works
First, the prospect is offered some free information, commonly called a Lead Magnet, in exchange for their email address.
Then, they're automatically added to two campaigns, one promoting a book, the other offering a free consultation.
There are several touch points within each funnel, designed to build trust and report.
